  Okayanus Deniz Ürünler Company, which has installed aquariums for 22 years, has installed the biggest aquarium of Turkey in Ankara for Keçiören Municipality. The company, installing marine aquariums
   at homes and offices; lobster and fish aquariums at hotels and restaurants besides the public places, has installed aquarium for many well-known people. Boss of Zorlu Holing, Ahmet Nafiz Zorlu and CEO
   of Koç Holding, Bülent Özaydınlı who has resigned a while ago, are among the businessmen to whose houses or offices it has installed aquarium.

  The company, creating projects of different scales and optional, has installed big aquariums in Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübu and big hotels such as Çırağan Sarayı, Kıbrıs Rocks Otel, Radisson SAS. However
  the biggest one has been installed in Ankara. The aquarium it has installed after winning the tender from Keçiören Municiaplity for his project is at the dimension of 35 meters. Approximately 3 thousands sea animals have been living in the aquarium which is to be opened officially in the forthcoming days.

  Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok states that they have had such a big aquarium in the capital city, which does not have sea, installed for the children seeing sea animals only in the documentaries and sea-lovers.  Turgut Altınok, “We started restoration works in Etlik Fatih Sultan Mehmet Parkı in autumn 2006. The aquarium within this scope with its 35 meter length and water capacity of 150 tones is the first in Turkey.  We had produced the aquarium, having approximately 3 thousands sea animals, for YTL 600 thousand. The Project has been carried out by Okayanus Deniz Ürünleri”.


  Divers Clean

  According to the information provided by Altınok, stating that total population of the aquarium including 671 sea fish of 13 species and 2 thousand 230 spineless animals of 13 species has been collected
  from the seas in Turkey and brought to Ankara with specially equipped vehicles, the aquarium has been filled with water obtained by adding sea salt to the drinking water.  It shall be maintained by
  Okyanus Deniz Ürünleri Company for one year. Altınok states that; “The Company shall train two members of staff of the municipality while maintaining. Later we shall perform maintenance. General
  cleaning of the aquarium is made by the divers.”
 

  Stating that they have carried out many aquarium projects of different scales up to date and the interest shown has made them happy, Altınok says that; “While not being opened completely, the aquarium
  attracts great attention particularly in the  evenings. Even there some people who see from their car and come. Therefore we shall continue to introduce Ankara with the sea. There are different projects
  we plan to carry out”.
